Hello all!  I'm sorry if posting has been a bit... erratic.  I've flown the coop and am now happily camped out at my Grandpa's cabin in Northern Wisconsin.  Needless to say, this post is NOT the most recent and I have a few more sets of pictures in the queue to post about before I'm all caught up.

These pictures are from two weeks ago (exactly!) when Doug and I went to see Boston Opera Collaborative's production of Albert Herring.  Our housemate was a supernumerary (opera-speak for "extra") and she told us that the show was good and tickets were free, so we really ought to go.  And so we did!  The show was fantastic, the comedy well-timed (if a bit British), and the music wonderful.  After the show we followed up on a tip from a customer about where to get a proper donut in Boston and swung by Doughboy Donuts in South Boston for a half-dozen mixed and an apple fritter half the size of you head.

I didn't have much luck taking outfit pictures at the theater, so I snapped a few when I got home.  Photographing black dresses is always such a challenge!  I've never been entirely sure how I feel about 1940s styles (on me, anyway) but I found this dress for a mere $6 so of course it had to go home with me.

I don't know.  I think it's growing on me.
