It's the return of nail art to Polka Polish!  Since I've been working on my blog, I took the time to make a little blogging schedule for myself, and I'm doing a pretty good job of following it, so far.  I want to continue posting about nail polish from time to time, so I'm making an effort to actually photograph what ends up on my nails.  It's a bit of a challenge, since the dry winter weather is being very hard on my hands, but with a constant supply of hand creams I think I can muddle through.

For Valentine's Day nails, I immediately gravitate towards red.  I've seen some tutorials for making your own nail stickers using nail polishes and stamping tool, so I decided to give that a try (on a rather small scale) for this manicure.  I like the contrast between the glittery background and the creamy red hearts... looks rather like the packaging on a nice big box of chocolates!

For this design, I used:
Revlon Colorstay Basecoat
Sally Hansen Insta-Dri Rapid Red
China Glaze Ring in the Red
Essence Stamping Plate
Essence Stamp Me! White
NYC Grand Central Station topcoat
