I was going to post this yesterday, but, uh, I didn't.  A few weeks ago I won a giveaway (my first winning of a giveaway ever!  I was very excited) hosted by the lovely Sharon of Polish Infatuated.  I've been restricting my polish purchases (and, honestly, all purchases) due to my current employment status, so I was very excited to do a little online shopping at the Born Pretty Store.  A fat envelope stuffed with goodies showed up in the mail a few days ago, so I thought I'd put together a little post to show you what I got!

I decided to pick some things I'd been wanting to try and some things that I thought were neat but hadn't been able to bring myself to spend money on.  I'm definitely excited to try everything out!  I got...

A wheel of rainbow rhinestones.  I don't use rhinestones often, but they do add a fun something extra sometimes.  Plus, colors!

I also picked up two Konad ripoff plates.  Mostly because m37 has music on it.  Honestly, they don't really look as clean as the photo on the website, and they are definitely not as good as the original plates... the images look like they were copied poorly and are missing details.  Will I buy Konad copycat plates again?  Probably not.  I'll have fun playing with these, though, and who knows, I might (eventually) fork over the money for the real thing.

Fimo slices!  I've always thought these looked nifty but I haven't wanted to pay for them at Sally Beauty Supply or anywhere else.  Most of the pieces I got seem to be butterflies, but I like the hearts and flowers, and I think I'll have to try out the little apples while it's still fall.

Last, but certainly not least, I got some glequins!  Sammy of The Nailasaurus fame has been doing some truly amazing things with these oversized glitter pieces, and I can't wait to try some of her designs myself.

Once again a huge thank-you to Sharon of Polish Infatuated for the awesome giveaway... I'm absolutely gleeful to play with all my new sparkly toys.
