We're on a little bit of a pink kick around here these days!  On Friday, I drove home to help a friend get her inner Pretty Pink Princess ready for her Senior Prom.  She'd asked me to paint her nails, and I was happy to oblige.  Her dress was pink and sparkly (and only cost $40.  I'm so jealous.) and she had fabulous white /silver jewelry, so we went for a pink and white nail design with silver-backed clear crystals.

This photo has been overly photoshopped/blurred to obscure the cuticles.  They are bad and nibbled-on looking.

I don't have a materials shot of this, and I actually don't remember everything I used.  I know I started with my Sinful Colors Basecoat, followed up by 2 coats of Confetti Dance Party Pink.  I covered that with a coat of some sort of sheer Sally Hansen pink polish that had a shimmer-y effect to it.  Next, I stamped angled tips using the lacy pattern from Bundle Monster Image Plate BM10 and Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear White On.  I filled in the tips a little with a nail art brush and more white, then added glimmer to them with Icing White Wedding, a soft, glass-flecked white.  Finally, I stuck teardrop-shaped rhinestones to the outside edge of each nail and topped them all off with a layer of Seche Vite.

More pink to come soon!
