A friend I made over the summer came up from San Francisco to visit me last weekend.  In addition to shopping and pie-making and eating sushi and chatting we also painted our nails.  She picked out her base color, and although she was reluctant initially to have a design, she ended up giving me carte blanche with the stamping.  This is one of my favorite polish combinations that I own, and she ended up loving the end result.
Materials:
  • Sinful Colors basecoat
  • China Glaze Midnight Mission
  • Sally Hansen Insta-Dri Silver Sweep
  • Seche Vite
  • Bundle Monster Image Plate BM11, plus all the rest of the nail stamping goodies

Method:

  • Start with clean, dry nails and a well-ventilated space.
  • Paint all nails with basecoat, let dry.
  • Paint all nails with Midnight Mission.  I used two coats, although I probably could have gotten away with one.  Let dry.
  • Using the cherry-blossom design from BM11 (which is totally the same as the cherry-blossom design on BM16) and Silver Sweep, stamp an arc of blossoms at the cuticle edge of each nail.
  • Slide a coat of Seche Vite over everything, and enjoy your shiny nails!
